The 4x9 is in the books!!  Last year this was "The Covid 4x9"; this year given the timing of the tournament, we renamed it "The NEVER FORGET 4x9" in remembrance of September 11. Thanks to everyone that signed up!!!

What a great weekend for a tournament!!!  Weather was outstanding, the course is in great shape & the Saturday festivities at Wing King were awesome!!  A BIG thanks to Brad Hartley, fellow competitor and owner of Wink King, for he & his staff's hospitality on Saturday, that was a great time.  

A few other thank you's.  Thanks to David Gies, he does so much behind the scenes for these events and accommodates our requests!!!  Thanks David for your support of the FMMGA!!  Thanks to your staff and all they do as well.  Thanks also to John & his staff at Divot's for everything yesterday afternoon.  

As I said yesterday while announcing flight winners, I think all 62 players came up to me or Tim Plummer at some point and told us how great the course is and specifically how awesome our greens are.  Thanks to Ashley Patterson & his staff for all their hard work on the course!!  The greens are as good as they have ever been!!

Flight winners:

1st flight - Jackson Windell & Granger/Konzcos won this flight with a 2 day total of 135.  Mike and a few others from our association are playing in the SR State AM this week, Mike couldn't play Sunday so Ken Konzcos filled in. Dan Page & Jeff Brunelle won a playoff for second in this flight, their 30 on the front 9 yesterday allowed them to win the scorecard playoff. 

2nd Flight - Casey Brighton & TJ Clarkson 140, with all 4 rounds at even par or better!!  2nd place in this flight went to Glenn Frick & Ted Otero.

3rd Flight - Steve Sovde & Anthony White shot two impressive rounds of 72 to capture this flight!!  Second place went to David Bowman & Dan Drane.

4th Flight - Brad Hartley & Bobby Rick fought back from a tough day on Saturday with a 71 on Sunday to capture this flight.  Arbie Turner & Wes Turner got second, shocker Arbie placed in a tournament again!! 

 Finally, a special thank you to Kenny Rouse for his idea yesterday and to everyone that contributed!!!  That is what truly makes the FMMGA special!!!   Next tourney is the FMMGA Championship October 16&17.  Look for sign up to start soon on the web site!!
