This past Saturday, the FMMGA put on the Red, White and Blue event.  I wasn’t able to attend this one but from everything I hear, it was a great day. 

In examining the scores, a few things stick out to me.  The most glaring one is that this just in – there are some GREAT PLAYERS who play golf at Fort Mill Golf Club.  The first flight had 6 guys break par.  Shane Whitman shot 69 and it wasn’t good enough to win money.  Jason Steiner had low score in the event at 66 – in all 6 guys shot in the 60’s !!! Dan Drane won the second flight with a nice 68 !!!  Every flight had some really good play in them and very competitive.  Bravo to you all.

We paid 1st and 2nd gross and net in each flight.  1st place pays 75 bucks in proshop credit and 2nd pays 50 buck in proshop credit.  This should be available to you by mid-week. 

I heard that the food was outstanding.  John Anderson and his crew are the best !! I didn’t play but I know the greens are coming along great from the aeration process – thank you Ashley Patterson !! and David Gies and staff – always great to the FMMGA.
