Are you up to the Challenge

A new twist to the challenge tournament as we get ready for cold weather golf.  This tournament requires TEAM STRATEGY before anyone tees off.  Each player is only allowed to play with 4 clubs. There will be an A, B, C and D player in each group.  STRATEGY.  The player who tees off is not allowed to play the second shot.  STRATEGY.  Captain's choice.  Do all players put driver in the bag?  STRATEGY.  Remember all 4 players are only allowed to play with 4 clubs so technically you are playing 18 holes with 16 clubs.  Should be easy.

Cost: $50 per person.

Format
4-man 4-club team captain's choice.  A, B, C and D players will make up a group.
Gross Score Only
Each players' handicap index along with their Saturday average will be used to determine A, B, C and D players.
Teams will be assembled by committee and will be based on handicap index and will be evenly matched. 

Tees
Under 65 – White tees
65-74 – Gold tees
75+ - Red tees

Rules

• Each player is only allowed to play with 4 clubs.
• Captain's choice.  All 4 players tee off.
• The player whose tee shot you are using is not allowed to play the next shot.
• The remaining three players hit their next shots from within one club length of the tee ball.
• All players are eligible to play the remainder of the shots choosing the best until the ball is holed.
• Repeat for all holes.
• Double Bogey Max.

Prizes
1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th place will be paid.  Potentially more places will be paid, depending on signups.

Turn in completed and signed scorecards at scoring board in Oak Room after play.  Lunch will be served along with beverages.
